Table Mountain, Cape Point and Boulders Beach Tour with wine tasting
Visit the Iconic Table Mountain National Park, take a calm and breathtaking walk in Kirstenbosch National Gardens. Enjoy wine tasting at the Cape Point Vineyards with a mouthwatering lunch and end the day at Boulders Beach with the African Penguins.
We hope to exceed your expectations on this full day tour. Your friendly and experienced tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cape Town and begin the tour by visiting Table Mountain National Park. There are two options to reach the summit which are hiking and with a cable car, but in this case, we will use the cable car as we have more steps to complete. Once we get on top of the Table Mountain visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the ocean. There is a curio shop atop where visitors can purchase beverages.
We then make our way to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens for a calm walk and learn about South African plants, especially fynbos, proteas, cycads, and other indigenous species. As soon as we leave the Kirstenbosch Gardens you might be feeling a bit hungry, we then take a 15 minutes' drive to Cape Point Vineyards. Visitors may expect to enjoy wine tasting and lunch at the vineyards. We pass through Simon's Town on our way to Cape Point Nature Reserve, where we get the opportunity to see the Old Lighthouse and the New Lighthouse. We end the tour with Boulders Beach Penguin Colony. The colony was established in 1982 and is now home to over 2,000 African penguins. African penguins are the only penguin species native to Africa and are classified as endangered due to habitat loss, overfishing, and oil spills. At the Penguin Colony swimming or touching the penguins is not allowed but we get to be closer and observe them as they go on with their daily life.
